Great Chesapeake Bay Schooner Race

Oct. 4-7, 2023 — Five CTSA members aboard the three sail bateau JOLLY DOLPHIN joined the “non-schooner” class in the 2023 Great Chesapeake Bay Schooner Race. Owner and Captain Jack Zuraw has successfully campaigned for the inclusion of traditional sailing vessels in the 34-year-old event. The seasonal event includes a Virtual Race to raise donations and visit to Baltimore for an education outing and Parade Of Sail before the Thursday trip down the Bay the first week in October.
