Small Boat Mess About
AUG. 5, 2023 — This season’s small boat mess about was attended by 15 members, 9 small boats, three dogs, and Mike’s Pearson Sea Wolf. The cooler temperature made a delightful rendezvous and the wind, while light, was certainly enough to propel the dinghies in a forward direction. As in past years, Don’s classic mahogany runabout stole the show offering rides to all who wanted a true motorboat experience. There were plenty of sodas and snacks to go around and the usual discussions about gaff rigged and other types of sailing craft made for a pleasant day on the water.
